My little girl...

What a week we've had! We took a baby to the beach and brought home a little girl! The first couple of days she didn't know much of what to think, which was not so much fun for mommy and daddy. We definately wondered 'what were we thinking!' a time or two! But once she figured out we weren't going to leave her and she obviously was going to be there awhile she started having a blast! She is crawling all over the place, pulling up (oh no!!), 'talking' up a storm, dancing, clapping (everybody must say yeah!), waving bye-bye, giving kisses and eating whatever she can get her hands on! She doesn't like eating off of a spoon but if she can pick it up she's going to eat it (or try to!) But.. still no tooth in sight! She totally enjoyed having mommy and daddy's (and Emmie's... and Papaw's... and Uncle Parker's... :) undivided attention all week. She especially loves 'talking' with Emmie and giving her sugar. There was a swing on the back porch of the beach house and she loved nothing more than to sit out there and swing and wave to the people on the beach and the neighbors at the next house over. Much to my dismay, shopping was not on her list of favorites but I have to admit it was a gazillion degrees outside and there was a bazillion people there and the stores at the outlet mall were not stroller friendly so I kept bumping her into things! :) The beach was great but... there's no place like home!
