So, I entered this contest...

Matilda Jane is a clothing company that makes some oh so cute clothes... they announced this little contest on their blog... "What does Matilda Jane mean to you?"... The prize? An all expenses paid trip for you and a friend to the 2nd annual 435 Art Fair... What is that you ask? Well, I don't know but I think it would be super cool to win it and I'm just positive that I would have a ton of fun while attending!

With your entry you had to send a pic of your child (or you) sporting MJ.
Those extra two are Shannon's girls... you'll see why...

So I took a couple... hundred. =)

I love this picture... I love this little girl.

Yes’m, old friends is the best, ‘less you can catch a new one
that’s fit to make an old one out of.

What does Matilda Jane mean to me? Oh, that’s easy. A friendship like no other. I love this friend of mine. Her name is Shannon. Did I mention that I just love her…’cause I do. A whole bunch. To think that it all started less than a year and a half ago out of my extraordinary fondness of an iced sugar cookie… but not just any sugar cookie, the most fabulously fabulous of all sugar cookies (go on, see for yourself, http://www.thecookiemama.blogspot.com/… that‘s all Shannon!). I tell you what, it’s like we’ve been friends forever! Among many, many things that make me adore her so is our mutual passion for outfitting our adorable girls in THE most adorable clothing. Ever. Shannon is my encourager, my therapist, my inspiration, my precious doll of a friend... who just happened to introduce me to MJ. Oh how I praise God for our instantaneous friendship. When I think of Matilda Jane… my next thought is of her… and our amazing friendship… and that just makes my heart smile.

If only I had a nickel for every time Bes mentioned her dear friend "Camel"...

Watching them play makes my heart happy. =)
