This is way overdue but as I always say better late than never...

Thank you Lily and Meg for my toys! I play with them every day and it makes it that much sweeter to know that they have been loved by the both of you! My mommy is so glad that I

have new toys to keep me busy. I love emptying all the blocks out of the basket and spreading them all over the house and I love playing with my dollhouse too! I especially like to make the toilet flush and the phone ring. I can't wait until I am big enough so that I can play barbies and dress up with you!

Been awhile...

Much has happened since my last post... The main reason for my lack of blogging is due to Bes being somewhat under the weather for the past few weeks. Somehow, someway she got Salmonella. The worst is over with now... Praise the Lord! We will check again just to be sure it's all out of her system next week but let's just say we've been through a ton of diapers! Also, whenever I try to get on the computer Bes thinks she needs to help which makes it impossible to type! She isn't walking... yet... I think she's super close though. She is the world's fastest crawler so I can't imagine what it will be like with her being able to walk! Brad is staying busy with work (and golf) and my friends here in Columbus have inspired me to train for a 5k (though most of them are training for a 1/2 marathon or have already ran one)! I ordered a jogging stroller and it arrived today so the training will officially begin tomorrow morning! My friends April (and usually Renee but she's a 1/2 marathoner so she's way out of my league!) walk/run every morning at the Riverwalk. Bes loves strolling so she just sits back and enjoys the ride! I've always wanted to be able to run a few miles so I'm really anxious to get started (and really anxious to hopefully loosen the pants a little!) Lately I've been in baby mode (not on my account though!!) Seems like everyone is having babies and most of them are having girls! I have 2 sisters and 7 friends that are pregnant! These pictures of Bes are from my sister Staci's baby shower last Saturday. I think Baby Blake will arrive first unless Mandy beats her to it! :)

Our friends Neil and Leah have the most precious little boy, Jack. He is ALL boy and I think it's so funny to watch him and Bes play. There is such a difference between little boys and girls! He's about a week shy of being exactly 1 year older than Bes so she can't quite keep up with him yet but she still lets it be known when he gets her toys! 9 months old and already has a little temper! There's no doubt they are going to be big buddies... however, it might be a little more than that! :) The other night we were over their house visiting and Jack got out a pillow and he wanted Bes to lay beside him. They were being so sweet so Leah ran and got her camera... and she captured the first kiss! She posted it on her blog earlier this week and as I was showing it to Brad he said he didn't know how much he liked that! :) These daddy's and their little girls!

Scrub a dub dub!

Bes loves her bath time! I have bathed her with her lying on one of those sling things since birth but I decided it was time for her to start taking a big girl bath and she has so much fun! I fill 'er up with bubbles and Bes thinks she's in heaven! Today she discovered the little silver circle thing under the faucet and she thought that baby staring back at her was too cute. Of course, I had to do the "Alfalfa" with her hair... it kinda worked...

Well friends and fellow bloggers... I am working on a new page. Haven't got it exactly like I want it but I must turn off the computer and hit the sack! It's looking better though if I do say so myself! :)
