Our poor ears!

Yet another dr's visit today confirmed that her ears still look as bad as day 1 so he added a prescription or two and sent us on our way... But as luck would have it I have an ear infection too! I got a wick put in mine and another steriod shot by my hubby the "dr". :) I am so bummed because we both felt too bad to go to our church's Trunk n' Treat tonight but hopefully we'll feel better Friday night. We can't miss out on her first Halloween!

Hip Hip Hooray!!

Monday's hip dr appointment went fabulous. Everything is still healing nicely. Her right hip is not as properly formed as her left but the dr said that's to be expected and with time that it will catch up. Our prescription was for Bes to be as active as possible to allow her joint to stregthen which is so not a problem! She is such a busy body. She no longer wants me to hold her, always wanting down so she can walk!! Such a big girl. We don't have to go back until May! Hip ok, ears notsomuch... She's still having trouble with her ears and we are on day 10 of antibiotics so I am taking her to the ENT tomorrow for him to check. I REALLY want to go to our church's Trunk n' Treat so I'm hoping that we get the go ahead! It's her first Halloween... she just has to go! :)

Officially a toddler!!

I can not believe that my baby is walking!!! Despite her not feeling well (been a rough week... a ruptured eardrum of all things!!) she let go of the couch and decided she'd just walk across the den. The more she walked the braver and better she got at it! She has her hip dr appointment Monday so I am super excited to show him what Bes can do and thank him for all he did for her!

Sweet Baby Blake.

Quite possibly one of my most favorite pictures ever. Bes was standing on a bench on her tippy toes checking out her new cousin. How precious is that?!?

Now I'm a Meme x 6! :)
Tanner the big sister!
The "B" girls... Brantley, Bes, and Blake!

And Blake makes...7!!

Blake Ann Bevill arrived yesterday just after 8 am... weighing in at 7 lbs 11 oz and 19 1/4 in long! That makes 7 grandkids for Pop Daddy and Grommie (#8 expected in Jan!) Staci is doing great... but while Staci was in labor Bart's thumb that he had hurt Sunday afternoon in the deer woods kept getting worse and worse so off to the ER he went and returned with a cast! Broken thumb and a baby on the way made for one eventful evening! :) After 12 years I can not believe that Tanner is a big sister! Oh how I wish that I lived closer to my sisters... I'll post pics ASAP!

Where oh where??...

...did my batteries go?? I went to Walmart today and after checking out my overflowing buggy o' stuff I realized that I forgot the one thing that I actually made the trip to Walmart to get! So then I was the dork pushing my cart full of bagged groceries around Walmart looking for this particular LED battery. Finally found them, waited in line... again... but this time at the self-checkout (I know, what was I thinking?!?) only to get home and discover that I didn't make it home with the batteries!! Checked my car, the trash, everywhere!! So if anyone finds 2 packs of batteries around the Columbus area... they would be mine!

Happy Fall Ya'll!

What a fun weekend we've had! We had not 1 but 2 trips to the pumpkin patch! The first trip was with the Mullins' and lets just say getting a good picture of Jack AND Bes was borderline impossible! Jack was having the time of his life! Since Jack is almost 1 year to the day older than Bes I get a little glimpse of my life a year from now. Bes enjoyed it but she just likes being outside in general. There was a section of gigantic pumpkins and Bes would just move from pumpkin to pumpkin "walking" like a big girl. The second trip was to take Pop Daddy and Grommie when they came to visit Sunday afternoon. My daddy is a farmer and between the peanuts, corn and soybeans that he plants I know there isn't much time for pumpkins but I just wanted him to see how neat the pumpkin patch was! Being there brought back so many memories of when I was younger... "packing" the cotton at Mr. Larry Lindsey's, jumping haybales at the pig barn, playing hide and seek at the grain bins, riding four wheelers for hours upon hours... memories of a country girl... see Jenifer there's a reason behind my accent! :) Here are a few of the 100+ pictures that we took over the weekend! I had a hard time narrowing them down!
