Whew, it's hot!

Bes is quite the little helper when Daddy waters the yard in the evening...

The SWEETEST girl that makes the BEST cookies...

It's give away time again!! Meet Shannon Willcutt, the most adorable, precious, sweetest friend who just happens to make the cutest cookies that I have ever seen. Bes is just crazy about her girls, Macy and Lucy and I must say, so am I. =) All my hometown girls... I will deliver... and all my Memphis girls... I'll use that as an excuse to visit! =) Oh, I hope I win!

Pool time!

This evening we went to the pool with Leah, Jack, and Nan for some fun in the (late afternoon) sun! Today was quite the scorcher! Later the boys met us there for some dinner and we had a fun little night!

Could she possibly be more of a Daddy's girl...

Bes and her other mother... Leah. =)

Playing with her Daddy's glasses...
look closely and you'll notice I made it in this picture too!
Cheese!

Best friends in the making...

Today Bes and I got to spend the afternoon with sweet little Meg Barlow. Bes just thought she was the most fantastic thing ever and so did I... they played for hours and didn't bother me one bit! April, call me anytime you want me to take her off your hands! =) Brad and I both agreed that she was one fine babysitter!
Bessie was still napping when Meg first came over so she went outside to catch
some frogs whie we waited for her to wake up. I just love this picture.

These were all caught in the first five minutes. She caught triple this many!
Our yard is being overtaken by tiny little frogs! Eek!
Showing off her collection.

Bes finally woke up... and it was picture time but she wouldn't look at the camera
so Meg had to help her out a bit..

... and I find it quite hilarious because this picture was taken last week
and she was using the same method.

Meggie was using the phone so Bes grabbed the next best thing... a fork!

Check out Meg's face!

How adorable is this!?! Eating snacks while watching some Disney channel...
and you were right April... Meg is all about her a snack! =)

Meg showing Bes how it's done...

... and Bes having no part of it! Eek! Frogs!

She'd prefer to just pull weeds.

Quite possibly one of my most favorite pictures. Ever.

Having the time of her life!

Thank you Meg for a fun, fun day!

The best day EVER!

On Wednesday Bes and I loaded up with Erika, Landry and Isabella and headed to Birmingham to see Dora Live... Bes loved it just as much as I thought she would! I feel so unbelievably blessed to have been able to make this memory with her. I have no doubt it was one of the best times that Bes has ever had... and it was pretty high on my list as well. Watching Bes in all her excitement was just too much! Here is the best day EVER in photos... oh and have I mentioned yet that Bes loves her some Dora. =)
Since we left so early the kids went straight from their beds to their carseats.
We changed them out of their pajamas once we made it to the BJCC.

Isabella and Bes "talking" about the big day!
Lovin' their Dora dolls!

Catching up on some girl talk before the show.

I snapped this picture then handed my camera to Erika for her to snap one of me and Bes... that's when the BJCC lady gently reminded us of the "no camera rule" and told us next time she would call over a manager... geez... what's a girl got to do to get a picture around here!?!

After the show they were still pretty pumped so we tried to take a
good picture of the three of them...
... but it just wasn't going to happen. =)

Snoozing kids = some great girl time!
To Erika, Landry and Isabella... thank you for helping make this truly one of the best days ever! It was all I had anticipated and so much more! I just love makin' memories! =)

The best in the whole wide world!

Several weeks ago Bes's DeeDee surprised Bes with a Dora kitchen! To state the obvious, she LOVES it! And it goes quite nicely with the Dora pajamas that her Pop Daddy and Grommie thought she just had to have! She will track down those pj's in the dirty clothes and I will find her in the floor of the laundry room trying to put them on!

Her favorite is the play "ice" that came with the kitchen. I'm not sure what it's supposed to be... maybe sugar cubes?... but she brings them to me daily saying, "ice, ice" (visualize adorable little tongue thrust as she is saying it) and the telephone is a big hit too. She cracks me up holding it up to her ear with her shoulder while she "cooks". A big thank you to the best Dee, Pop Daddy and Grommie in the whole wide world! Bes hearts Dora.
