Say cheese!

Oh how I love me some Renee Reedy! :) How talented is she?!? She captures the sweetest little faces that Bes makes that I never want to forget. As I said earlier Bes wasn't in the best of moods for our photo session but they are adorable... though I must admit I am partial. :) You can check out a sampling of her pics on Renee's blog. As for an update on the teething... you would know after I write a post telling on her that she would turn sweet as pie! She is doing much better but still no tooth in sight.

The teething blues...

Whoever said laughter is the best medicine sure knows what they are talking about... It all started last Saturday and since then is pretty much been downhill from there. Bes has been extremely unhappy and I feel like I am about to loose my mind! Never in a million years would I have thought teething would be quite this bad. She wants to be held all day everyday, wakes up 2 and 3 times a night and refuses to take her usual naps. Not to mention on the rare occasion that she does let me sit her down if I step out of her eyesight she screams like I have cut her arm off! Ahhhh! So anyway, yesterday I woke up with a migraine and it didn't let up all day. We were supposed to get her 6 month (I know I'm a little late.) pictures made yesterday morning but I had to call Renee to postpone because we just couldn't get it together. About the time I had all I could take I laid her down to change her diaper and out of nowhere she started laughing up a storm! The good Lord knew I was in desperate need of a pick me up! :) A short while later I sat down and whaddya know... my headache was gone! We did try again later in the day to take her pictures. She wasn't her usual self but I know Renee got some good ones. Today was more of the same (minus the headache input extreme impatience and frustration). Just when I was about to go insane she did it again. She got so tickled for no reason! It was just what I needed to make it until Brad got home to give me a break. I guess it's all a day in the life, right?... I have posted a video taken last week :) of her having a good ol' time in her exersaucer. We are always jumping out from behind the couch or around the corner and the more we scare her the harder she laughs. What a precious sound! Baby laugh is the best!

Happy (belated) Father's Day!

My most favorite picture in the ENTIRE world... compliments of
Renee Reedy Photography

Love this onesie. Looked fabulous with her pink britches too!

Happy Father's Day Brad!!
Brad is such a wonderful daddy! He works so hard so that we can stay at home together and then after he gets home from his long day he goes straight for his girl! Even though I spend more hours in a day with her he knows precisely her likes and dislikes and HE is the one that is spoiling her rotten! :) With every little whimper she makes he is right on top of it. Many times he knows better than I do what she wants. No telling how many miles they have walked around the house and out in the yard spending "Daddy time" with her. Even at 6 months old I can already tell that she is going to be such a Daddy's girl! When he is home she wants to be nowhere other than in his arms. I thought I couldn't possibly love Brad anymore than I did and then Bes can into this world and just watching them together makes my heart melt. Just when you think it doesn't get any better than this, you wake up the next morning and it's even better! Brad and I are closer than ever and I know that he is the 1 person that knows exactly what I mean when I say... My cup runneth over! I love you Brad!

It's official... I'm a blogger!

It's hard to believe our sweet Bes is 6 1/2 months old already!! Time is flying by! I am so blessed to be able to spend my days with her. She does something new every day and I love being able to catch every little thing as it happens. Right now she is LOVING the pool (ok, so really it's mommy that's loving the pool) but it's always a fun time. Grommie got her a walker last week and she has been scooting all around the house... backwards! It's amazing to think that less than 2 months ago she was in a bodycast and now she's all over the place. She is currently all about her daddy... constantly saying da-da-da-da (though I don't think she actually knows what she is saying yet) and last night while Brad was holding her I held out my arms for her and would you believe she turned her back to me! 3 times!! Then when I got her and Brad held his arms out she reached out for him! Where's the love!?! She is too precious and cracks us up all the time.
