A love story...

This girl loves her bean bag... actually this bean bag has been loved by many a girl... you see, this bean bag is about 30 years old. My sisters and I gave this bean bag plenty of lovin' and then it got passed on down to Bes. Lately though it has been showing it's age... threadbare in some places and I believe a toothpaste stain from many moons ago that just kept getting darker and darker and I'm quite postitive I remember spilling fingernail polish on there at some point. If you can believe it, washing it was just not doing the trick any longer. =) SO....

since my Aunt Joan made the original cover I recruited her to whip me up a replacement! I had to send the old cover for her to make the pattern off of so Bes had to go a few days without it... she missed it for sure... but as I type she is snoozing away on her "new" beanbag. Here's to another 30 years!!

Thank you Aunt Joan!
XOXOXO

Confessions of a hoarder.

Little bags...

or as in the case above... a Strawbery Shortcake tin...
full of Bes's "special treasures."
All over the place.

Giddy up!

Last weekend Bes's buddy, Blake had a cowgirl birthday party... complete with a pony to ride! She was so stinkin' excited to have her turn on Fancy! I just love how my sweet little girl is all things princess one minute and then all tomboy the next. She would go hunting with her daddy in a second and play outside all day every day if she could but then just the other day I asked her if she wanted to play teeball this spring... her reply? "Well, I really would like to just play cheerleader." Honestly, I figure my plate will be full enough come spring so I was just fine with her answer.

I don't know how I didn't get a picture of Bes with the birthday girl but this is Bessie with the 3rd musketeer of the trio. =)

Can I take your order?

While upstairs playing the other day Bes found a headset from an old video game of her daddy's. On her head it went and she's been taking orders ever since.

Think we frequent the drive thru much? Sheesh.

She is a fabulous order taker. Never forgetting my barbeque sauce... and my hamburger?... always plain... just meat and bread. That girl doesn't miss a thing. =)

Never a dull moment with this one around. I just love her.
