This day was sure to come.

Operation Mama's got some poundage to loose has begun.

70 lbs total gained (dead serious.) during pregnancy, one week post delivery... 50 lbs lost (can we say fluid retention?)... 5 more down since then... 15 still hanging on.

Bessie Boo was on board... for a little bit...
then she started sweating and it was all downhill from there.

And this little girl thought she would scream for a good mile...
yeah, I might have to rethink my strategy.

Mae is now up to 10 lbs 10 oz!!

My little fashionista.

It all started with a gigantic tub of hand me downs from my niece... all sorts of fabulous clothes that Bes just adores because a) they all came from Brantley, her most favorite person ever and b) she knows her mama is more into... say, a sweet little smocked number and notsomuch for tie dye and peace signs (thankyouverymuch Sue) =) She would change 10x a day if I would let her and well, to be quite frank... this tub o' clothes is going to be the death of me.

" No mam, honey. You may not wear that to Lowe's with your daddy."
Scenarios such as these take place every. single. day.

The tub o' death of me that (for the most part) I am more than grateful to have had these little gems tucked inside... and shoes as fabulous as these deserve a closeup, if I do say so myself.

and I thought life couldn't get any sweeter.

then March 25, 2011 I met this little love and... it did.
