Bes really hit the motherload with a birthday close to Thanksgiving. We start celebrating every year with Brad's family while they are in town for the holidays and from then on we are in birthday mode.
On her actual birthday, she woke up to a room all decorated with streamers by Shawn our elf, who decided to make his much anticipated arrival on Bessie's special day. Since the first day of school Bes has been looking forward to "K" show and tell so she could bring her beloved Kit! How awesome that it landed on her birthday! The two of them headed off to school all smiles with pink sprinkled donuts to celebrate with her friends! Afterwards, it was time for our "girl day"... lunch at Bessie's restaurant of choice {Logan's} and mani/pedis!! Daddy had to work on the 30th so the celebrating continued Saturday with pottery painting at church that morning and a trip to Build A Bear that afternoon! And... finally... it was PaRtY time! She couldn't decide on a theme so we just did them all! Hello Kitty, Barbie, Lala Loopsy and peace signs!

Turning 5 has never been so much fun! She's already asking how long it's going to be before she turns 6! Sigh.
